BostonCube Logo Banner: Views of Boston

"The avalanche has started. It is too late for the pebble to vote."*

The avalanche was the end of the "dot-com" crazyness, so this pebble, lacking vote, visa and income had to leave Boston. As prospects back in the UK are not much better, I am taking the long route home via South America, Australasia and the Far East.

I left Boston on the first of May. This is the story...

Yes, nothing much has happened for some time now. OK, it has been a couple of years, fine I'll admit to that. But in my defence, I would like to point out that I have got a job, settled down and bought a house which needed a few things doing to it. And then moved to another job which has involved a lot of travel helping people to implement a rather large complex application from a famous German software company (as an independent I hasten to add - I don't actually work for them). If you know what I mean (and I'm sure that you do) you might even have met me during some of these adventures.

There has also been a complete rewrite that was almost finished, untill I started digging into this XML stuff and then decided to see what I could do with that and you know how it is. It's only going to take a few more weeks of serious effort to finish. Honest...

Seriously though, things are happening again. Some outstanding content might just make it online real soon now and I've already fixed a few site config errors that have crept in which I blame on the hosting company myself, probably during their move to shiny new servers serveral months ago. Yes I should have tested it, yes I should be actively monitoring this site, yes you can go boil your head.
